It was a pretty day on the island today. Sunshine and westerly winds. Tomorrow the high is in the low 80's and the wind is to be from the NW at 5 kts. I have reports of Good size Sea Mullet, Flounder and Puppy Drum from the south facing beaches. Citation size Drum are reported from Rodanthe. The seas are to grow all day tomorrow from Hurricane Maria. High tide is at 9:28am and low is 3:42pm. Please do not swim with out a flotation device because the rip currents are death defying. You can not count on the rescue squad to be there in time and the surfers may not notice you til it is too late. Pray for the storm victims. Take care.
