Today was partly sunny with a north-east wind at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s. There is a low pressure system building the waves as well as Hurricane Matthew from the south. The ocean is getting rougher but folks are still catching a few fish.
Up in Avon Bluefish were reported. In Buxton, Bluefish and Puppy drum were caught. There was a 48 red drum released in Hatteras.
