November 30, 2019

Today the fishing was slower. The winds were NNW at 25kts. So it was chilly out. Reports of a few Red Drum citations were caught at the Point and some Speckled Trout around. Catches today .... I feel like a broken record. Speckled Trout and Blow Toads. That would make a great Thanksgiving dinner. Strong off shore winds tomorrow. NW at 25- 30 mph. The tide is high at 8:13 am and low is at 2:31pm. We will be open tomorrow 7 am til 6 pm. Take care.

Wow it was nice out today! High near 70*! I love it. Again Speckled Trout were out in abundance and so were the fishermen and women fishing for them. I was at the point and sharks, sharks, sharks everywhere. Tomorrow it will be cloudy and warm again. SW winds in the morning increasing to 20 kts in the eve. A beautiful day on the island today. Lots of speckled trout, jetties, northern beaches. Most caught their limit and keeper puppies. Few southern reports of the same. Didn't jear whether they caught big drum this evening or not. Probably if the big sharks didn't take over like Sat. night. A griend Sat night said he caught the first and saw probably 10 or 1...

Today the fishing has been good. Puppy Drum and Black Drum and Sheeps head here in Buxton. Speckled Trout are bitting good all over. Tomorrow there will be a SW blow... 30 kts. Todays catches are Puppy Drum and a few slot Drum and Speckles here in Buxton. At the Point people also caught Puppy Drum and Black Drum and Blow toads. A citation Sea Mullet was weighed in too....good eating.

Today was a better day to be out fishing. The breeze was chilly but the bite was good. there were lots of Puppies at the Point along with Black Drum and Flounder. I did not hear of ant citation Drum being caught though. Tomorrow will be cooler out. The high is 52*. Tides are low at 8:10 am and high is at 2:27 pm. Have fun!

Things are slowly getting back to normal around here. It was sunny and a high temp of 56*. Tomorrow it will be a high of 64* and a light south west wind starting at 6 kts and picking up to 20 kts in the afternoon. Catches today were Puppy Drum and Black Drum here in Buxton and Puppy Drum also in Frisco. Have a good time.

Hello folks! We have a mess out here again. Hwy 12 may open tomorrow afternoon. There has been a few people fishing this afternoon but I have not heard of their catches. Tomorrow the high temperature is aroun 60* and light winds. Low tide is at 6:56 am and high is at 1:23 pm. See you out there. OH we are having a 20% of sale on gifts and clothing.

Hi. It was warmer today on the island. High 65*. Fishermen reported catches of Flounder, Red Drum, Sea Mullet and Black Drum and Blow toads. Tomorrow morning you can go out for a bit but if you need to be home on Monday then you should be leaving a little after 1 oclock cause by 5 oclock it will be blowing 40 kts.
