The water temp along the beach at the point is near 55 and this Sat am the wind is going to switch to SW so we are expecting a good drum bite along with some small blues. Today was sooooo windy still. 30 kts from the NNE. Tomorrow the winds will lighten to 18kts from the same direction. The water is cold again here on the north side but I believe still hanging on to the 58 degree mark on the south side. Low tide is at 8:47 am and high is 2:43 pm. We have bunker!!! What a windy day, but this will all be gone by Thurs. and by the looks of the sea surface temps we are good to go. Water is still warm, little cooler, but good. Nice day today. I have not spoken to anyone that has been out, but over the past few days there has been a pretty good Drum bite at The Point in the evenings. Hello folks! There are some fish around finally! Drum bite has been good for the passed few evenings. Reports of Sea Mullet and Black Drum too. Tomorrow the weather should be nice. Highs in the 60's and light winds. High tide is at 10:46 am and low is 4:48 pm. We are open 7 am til 8 pm now. Tight lines!

Rainy out all day today til this eve. Then W winds at 25 kts blowing out there. Tomorrow the temps should creep up to the 60's with a stiff NW to W wind at 20 kts. Maybe this week end will be better.

Good news folks, some Red Drum were caught yesterday at the Cape Point! First ones of the year. I am so glad to hear that. There are Sea Mullet and Blow Toads being  caught from the southern beaches. This was a nice day out! It was around 70*. Tomorrow will be nice again with SW winds building to 15 kts. I have reports of Blow Toads and Sea Mullet being caught from the south beach. Stop in and our staff will show you how to rig to catch those. Have a great night!
