People are catching Sea Mullet and Spot from the beaches here in Buxton. In the sound people are catching Drum and some nice Flounders. We have rain gear. Come in and see our beautiful gifts upstairs. Have fun.
Off and on rain today. There were some fish caught. Spot and Croaker in Avon, Sea mullet in Buxton and Pompano and Sea mullet in Frisco. Tomorrow is calling for some rain, but hopefully it will be lighter than the previous week. Take care.
Well we had rain again off and on all day today. Some fishermen still fished and the catch was good in the sound. Reports of Slot size Drum were caught. Spinner and Black Tip sharks are being caught too. We have some fresh mullet for bait. Be courteous and careful driving in the rain.
Today it finally quit raining. I saw people fishing but did not see anyone catch anything. Tomorrow the waves will calm down a bit and maybe the water will clear up some. There should be Spot, Sea Mullet and Flounders to catch. Be really careful swimming because there are a lot of rip currents. See you soon.
Today was washout again. Looks like we will see the sun tomorrow. There will be a stiff SW wind. Be careful driving through the water on the roads. Come in and get a coffee to start your day off right.
I wish I had something to report, other than wind and rain. The morning was a washout. Partly cloudy now with a strong SSE wind. The Weatherman is calling for more rain through Thursday, but we will see. Take care.
Fishing has not been so good the passed few days. Today was a washout, It rained all day. We have heard that the Point will be opening late August though. Check Cape Hatteras National Seashore on Facebook for updates. Take care.
Today the wind has been from the SW and breezy and we have heard of only a few small sea mullets and spots. The south beach was showing some clean green water, but Ollie said the sand blowing was cutting at your legs, too windy. Tomorrow we have a wind shift to the W then NE (light). The fish will turn back on. Have a nice night.
Nice day out. I have some better fishing reports too. Blue fish, lots of Sea Mullet and some Spot have been caught here in Buxton today. Frisco had a few Pompanos along with Sea Mullet. Tomorrow we will have NE winds at 10-15 kts. The tide is high in the morning at 8:54 and low is in the afternoon at 2:52. Have fun!
