The day started off breezy, but the wind layed down around midday and it turned out to be a beautiful day. The only reports I received today were Drum being caught out at Shelly Island/The Point on cut mullet. The rest of the week is supposed to be pretty, so come on down and catch some fish. Take care.
Today seemed like it would be a good day to fish. Most people did not have very good luck. Reports of a few Puppy Drum on the south facing beaches. There is a low front going through tonight and it will rain tomorrow. This next week will be better. Take care.
Wow! What a beautiful day out there. Fishing was slow I guess. Know one has come in to tell me of catching fish. I do know that the Avon Pier is catching some awsome citation Red Drum. The sound has reported catches of Flounder and Speckled Trout. Enjoy the weather tomorrow for it will be rainy on Sunday.
Cool start to the day but it warmed up nicely. Tomorrow calls for more of the same. Citation and slot size Red Drum are being caught at Shelly Island and in Avon. From the south facing beaches, there are reports of keeper Flounder being caught from the beach. In the sound Speckled Trout is the word of the week. Have a sunny day!
We have heard of puppy drum and bluefish on the northern beaches and Avon Pier has been catching big drum fish up there. Puppies on the Point and few bluefish. Again Red Drum Tournament anglers have a great tournament. Have a great night.
Rainy start to this morning and very windy. They are calling for a wind shift to the W tonight and then NW some time tomorrow. And not at 30 mph. We hope, with cooler temps. This will help with more fish, because we didn't hear of any fish today. It was very rough, both surf and sound. And it was very hard to find a place to get out of the wind. It will mu...
Nice day today with the breeze picking up as the day progressed. We weighed in a citation Sea mullet this morning and I caught a few Specks on the Sound early this morning. Tomorrow it sounds like rain and wind all day. Take care.
Today we had a nice sunny day with temperature in the 80's and SW 10mph wind. Fishing was good. We had reports on many Blues, Speckle trout, p.drum being caught in the Surf and on the Sound side mostly on cut bait. It's that time of the year, so if you are coming on the Island don't forget to stop by in Dillon's Corner and get your gear, bait and supplies...
The catch of the day seems to be Blue fish. I also heard reports of slot size Red Drum and keeper Speckled Trout too. High tide tomorrow is at 8:59 am and low is at 2:40 pm. The weather will be nice tomorrow too, sunny with a high of 79*. Everyone have fun during the tournament. We will see ya.
