Cool start to the day today. It warmed up nicely. Winds were out of the NE all day at 14kts.  Reports of Pompano from the south facing beaches and the north side. Some small Blue fish were also caught. In the sound, reports of Puppy Drum and Grunts were given. Tomorrow the tide is low at 10:34 am and high is at 5:01 pm. Drum were caught at the Cape Point...

Today we had a big change in the weather. The high was in the low to mid 70's. Winds were from the NE at 14 kts. Reports here in Buxton are of Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum. Pompano were caught from the south facing beaches. Tomorrow should be nice again. Welcome back folks!

JUST FOUND OUT folks are being allowed on as of 11 am today. I've heard there were Drum caught at Cape Point/Shelly Island. There were Sea mullet reported in Avon. Drum reported in Frisco.

Weather is beautiful today and the road will be open tomorrow morning for you to come on down for the weekend. Ocean has settled down quite a bit and fishing should be back to normal. We hope everyone did as well as we did during the storm. Come on down

Well we are still here with some flooding of Hwy 12 in Avon and Frisco which now is coming from the sound tide. The winds will subside this afternoon and we should be a go for the weekend. Sorry I did not have a fishing report yesterday. The report is no better today. People are catching Pompano on the south facing beaches. In the Pamlico sound there are reports of Citation and keeper size Red Drum, Speckled Trout and keeper size Flounder too. Be careful in the surf.... the waves can knock you right off your feet.
